THE ACADEMYONE® "WIN A YEAR’S TUTORING" CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
1. Eligibility: The AcademyOne "Win a Year's Tutoring" Contest (the "Contest") is open only to residents of British Columbia or Ontario who are the age of majority* in their province of residence at the time of entry. For clarity, residents of any other Canadian province (including Quebec) or territory are ineligible to enter. The Contest is also not open to the employees, representatives, agents, officers and directors of AcademyOne Learning Ltd. (the "Sponsor") (collectively "Agents"), a member of the respective immediate families of the Agents, anyone with whom the Agents are domiciled, and the Sponsor's affiliates and subsidiaries, its suppliers, advertising and promotional agencies. *Note: The age of majority is 19 years in British Columbia and 18 years in Ontario.
2. Contest Period: The Contest begins on June 4th, 2015 at 12:01am (Pacific) and ends of December 4th, 2015 at 11:59pm (Pacific) (the "Contest Period"). All entries must be received no later than 11:59pm (Pacific) on December 4th, 2015 (the "Contest Closing Date").
3. Privacy Consent and Protection: Unless otherwise authorized by an entrant, any personal information provided by an entrant will be used solely for the purpose of administering this Contest and will not be used for any other purpose. When entering the Contest, however, an entrant may give their express, opt-in consent to receive communications by phone regarding the Sponsor's products and services. Such consent is not a condition of entering the Contest. All personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.
4. Entering Contest: No purchase necessary.

Entering by Ballot Box: During the Contest Period, eligible entrants can enter the Contest by completing a contest entry ballot (each a "Ballot") and depositing it in the Sponsor's on-location ballot box. When entering, entrants may (but need not) opt-in to being contacted by phone regarding a free student success guide and a free, no obligation Math and English assessment (collectively, the "Assessment") for their child. Ballots (while supplies last) and ballot boxes will be available in each of the Sponsor's locations in British Columbia and Ontario.

Entering without Consenting to Phone Call for an Assessment: As an alternative to completing the Ballot and consenting to receive a phone call for an Assessment, an entrant may enter the Contest during the Contest Period by writing on a plain piece of paper (a) their full name, home address, province of residence, age, phone number and email address and (b) an approximately 100-word essay on "the advantages of tutoring" and mail that paper, with sufficient postage, to The AcademyOne "Win a Year's Tutoring" Contest, AcademyOne Learning Ltd. Suite 810-1130 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 4A4 (each a "Mail-In Entry"). Mail-In Entries must be post-marked before 11:59pm (Pacific) on December 4th, 2015 and received by the Sponsor by 9:00am (Pacific) on December 8th, 2015 to be entered in the Contest draw.
5. Entries: Only one entry (whether a Ballot Box Entry or a Mail-In Entry) per eligible entrant per household is allowed. If an entrant enters the Contest more than once, all of their entries may be disqualified. By entering the Contest, all entrants agree to abide by these official rules for the Contest (the "Rules"). All entries become the property of the Sponsor, are subject to verification and none will be returned. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, misdirected, damaged or delayed entries. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the Contest, in its discretion, should the entrant at any stage supply untruthful, inaccurate, or misleading details and/or information or should the entrant be otherwise ineligible for the Contest.
6. Sponsor: AcademyOne Learning Ltd. is the sole Contest sponsor and administrator.
7. Prize: There is one prize package (the "Prize") available to be won consisting of a diagnostic assessment and 12 months tutoring using the AcademyOne® Math Wiz™ and English Wiz™ programs and APLUS Incentives™ supports (including Math hotline and email), The total approximate retail value of the Prize is $1,995.
8. Draw: A random draw for the Prize will be held at 3:00pm (Pacific) on December 8th, 2015 (the "Draw Time") at the Sponsor's office located at Suite 810-1130 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 4A4 from all eligible entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date. The chances of winning the Prize will be dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
9. Communications: No communications about the Contest with entrants will be entered into except with the entrant selected by the draw who will be notified once by both email and telephone within 24 hours following the Draw Time at the email address and telephone number they submitted on the Contest entry form. All decisions of the Sponsor in relation to administering the Contest and awarding the Grand Prize are final and binding on all entrants.
10. Qualifying Selected Entrant: The selected entrant, before being declared a winner, must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without the aid of any mechanical or electronic device, to be administered by email. The selected entrant must also sign a declaration and release (the "Winner's Release") to: (a) confirm compliance with the Rules; (b) accept the Prize as awarded; (c) consent to the use their name, age, city of residence, voice and/or video/photograph in any related publicity or Internet posting without payment or compensation; and (d) release the Sponsor from any liability relating to the Contest and the Prize.
11. When Another Entrant May Be Selected: Failure to reach the first selected entrant within 24 hours of the Draw Time, failure of the selected entrant to return the executed Winner's Release by within 10 days after receipt, or failure of the selected entrant to meet all Contest conditions may result in the forfeiture of the Prize and the Sponsor selecting another entrant and attempting to qualify another selected entrant.
12. Acceptance of Prize: The Prize must be accepted as awarded. The Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash (in whole or in part). The Sponsor reserves the right to vary or substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. In the event that the winner is unable to use any or all of the Prize components due to reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor, no compensation or substitution of the Prize or any component of the Prize will be provided.
13. Applicable Law and Contest Changes/Cancellation: This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited. The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw, terminate or amend this Contest at any time, without notice.
14. Limitation of Liability: The Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss, property damage or personal injury suffered in connection with this Contest or the awarding or enjoyment of the Prize, including, without limitation, any direct, special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages even if the Sponsor has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
15. More Winners Than Anticipated: If, as a result of an error in the entry process, drawing or any other aspect of the Contest, there are more potential winners of the Grand Prize than contemplated in the Rules, there will be a random draw amongst all eligible Prize claimants to award the Prize.
